The preliminary task contained very simplistic camera work and only showed our ability to use basic shot types. The preliminary task was mainly used to show our understanding of 'shot reverse shot', the '180' rule, 'match on action' and 'reverce shot'. When it came to editing, it was very basic and we only utilised the face effect.

When we were filing our film, we used a larger range of shot types and camera angles to make it look more professional. Our usage of the before mentioned shots had also improved greatly showing our understanding of camera techniques. Also, when it came to editing our film, we had better software available, so our editing was of a much higher quality. This has improved the over all quality of our film because we were able to change allot of things in post production.
You need to say where in your film you used shot reverse shot, match on action and give examples of what specific camera shots you learnt from completing the preliminary task and where you then used those in your opening.
